The Astro Investigator group, fondly referred to as the 'Gators, was formed seven years ago.  The purpose of this group is to test different astrological concepts for their statistical validity.  For this past quarter Saturn cycle, we have worked very hard to test software and techniques for our astrological research. We have conducted a number of valid research projects as well.

A couple years ago Cathy H. Burroughs approached us.  She had found that the  ninth harmonics was very significant . She wanted to know if it was statistically sound.  We tested her concept and were able to reassure her that it had a very strong statistical strength.  We also presented her with some of our findings. In the NCGR summer solstice journal 2008 Ms Burroughs wrote an article about the ninth harmonic and relationships.  She thoughtfully gave us credit in this article. That's all we asked for.  We were more than happy to help her prove that her astrological work was viable. This is the reason for creating the 'gators research group. 

In the last month we have begun to expand our gator group beyond Connecticut.  We meet every Wednesday evening on the site of Alphee's real time, audiovisual online astrology school.

Over the years I do believe that we all have proven to ourselves that astrology works...after all we are still doing it!  But I've seen too many astrologers make serious predictions based on only one astrological criteria.  As the founder of AIR SOFTWARE I've done a lot of work using astrology to predict the stock market. We have our MARKET TRADER SOFTWARE in 32 different countries and in many banks and financial institutions.  From my experience many years researching the market and as a day trader, I've learned quickly not to put my money on just one astrological aspect. Nothing is one dimensional in our work...there are so many things happening simultaneously in the sky and that's what works.

Here's a good example: The following graph shows that there are more transiting Ptolemy  aspects to make the Dow Jones chart more active in the market. The specific aspects are not what matter in this instance.  It does not matter what the aspect are.

By the way the chart I use for the Dow Jones is the one that I rectified: May 17 1792 at 7:52 am in New York city, 5 time zone.

The 'gators are ready to do some serious research.  Conducting a research on careers is one of my biggest dreams!  Doing a career research including all types of career paths and discovering what astrological criteria holds more promise in certain careers is so important. Our research concepts use both astrological and non astrological criteria that work exceptionally well for research.  These include planetary phases, phase aspects between planets, planetary speeds and acceleration.

The following graphs shows many famous persons with different careers and their birth chart potential for that career.

Our research is conducted following the rules of statistical studies.  We use a test group against a control group and the Astro-Investigator software calculates the strongest astrological criteria.  That information is then sent to the artificial intelligence module of the NeuralNet which in turn creates a model for that career.    The artificial intelligence assigns weights to each important astrological criteria according to the strength.

Now you can use these individual career models with any natal chart to find out what career is most suitable for anyone in your chart file.   Of course the closer that your chart relates to the model of a certain career the more potential you have towards that field.  You  can use the same technique with diseases, a personality disorder, etc. 

After seven years, we 'gators are putting out a call for help.  Please come and help us give astrology all the credit that it rightfully deserves.

I feel that I owe astrology something.  It's time for me to payback something.  After all it helped me make a living when I needed the most help. I started studied astrology in 1953.  In 1965 I went through a divorce and ended up a single parent with 5 kids. So I quit my engineering job and started doing astrological counseling. I was able to provide a good living for us just on my astrology counseling business. This is why I want to give something back to astrology.
